The foundation of J Bar K & Associates was set in 1971.  Following 15 years of field training James Band pursued the development of his own Commercial Construction Company in Montana.

After years building Industrial and Commercial projects he could no longer resist the temptations of creative home design and relocated to Boise.

J Bar K & Associates has been growing with Boise ever since.  From the modest homes of the early years to their award winning estate homes of today J Bar K & Associates has followed strict guide lines of  construction quality and  service.

Many times it has been stated “ we are nothing without our people”, referring to the family of subcontractors and suppliers that have worked hand in hand with J Bar K & Associates for so many years.
